Intranet migration to MSFT

In 2018 the University of Bradford made the decision to migrate all internal content from an old CMS to Microsoft’s SharePoint solution. I was brought into the project by IT management to assist staff members across the University with the auditing, updating and transferring of content, as well as running knowledge transfer sessions and developing SharePoint user guides.

What I delivered…

1
Knowledge transfer

Running workshops and developing user guides to train staff members on a brand new system.

What the client said…

We commissioned Amy to deliver our intranet move to Sharepoint, a challenging project with tight timescales. The existing solution had been poorly managed and uncoordinated, and key stakeholders across the University needed to be enthused and supportive of a significant change in a short period. Amy set about by building strong relationships with those who would help expedite the project. Her natural style is to be supportive and actively move items forward by removing barriers and breaking down resistance. Amy delivered this project so well that we extended her contract for a further year, and she took on the role of PMO coordinator on a deeply complex project. I wouldn’t hesitate to work with Amy again. I love her.
